What We Are Investigating?
Our firm is launching a comprehensive investigation into BrokerChooser over allegations that it has been suppressing critical reviews and unfavorable Google search results by fraudulently misusing DMCA takedown notices. These actions, if proven, could constitute serious legal violations—including impersonation, fraud, and perjury.
We conducted comprehensive analyses of fraudulent copyright takedown requests, meritless legal complaints, and other unlawful efforts to suppress public access to critical information. Our reporting sheds light on the prevalence and modus operandi of a structured censorship network, often funded and used by criminal enterprises, oligarchs and criminal entities seeking to manipulate public perception and bypass AML checks conducted by financial organisations.
The fake DMCA notices in this investigation appears to have been strategically deployed to remove negative content from Google search results illegally. Based on this pattern, we have reasonable grounds to infer that BrokerChooser - or an entity acting at its behest - is directly or indirectly complicit in this cyber crime.
In most such cases, such ops are executed by rogue, fly-by-night 'Online Reputation Management' agencies acting on behalf of their clients. If evidence establishes that the subject knowingly benefited from or facilitated this scam, it may be deemed an 'accomplice' or an 'accessory' to the crime.
What are they trying to censor
BrokerChooser, a global brokerage comparison platform, has faced several allegations and red flags over the years, raising concerns about its credibility and operational transparency. These issues have not only tarnished its reputation but also implicated its affiliate, Ali Bongo BrokerChooser, in a web of controversy. Gulf Brokers, a competing entity, has a vested interest in suppressing this damaging information, even if it means resorting to cybercrime.
Major Allegations and Red Flags Against BrokerChooser:
- Misleading Broker Reviews: Critics have accused BrokerChooser of publishing biased or misleading reviews, favoring brokers that pay for premium listings. This undermines the platform’s claim of providing impartial advice to traders.
- Lack of Transparency: BrokerChooser has been criticized for not clearly disclosing its revenue model, particularly how it earns commissions from broker referrals. This lack of transparency has led to questions about conflicts of interest.
- Data Privacy Concerns: There have been allegations that BrokerChooser shares user data with third-party brokers without explicit consent, raising significant privacy concerns.
- Questionable Affiliate Practices: BrokerChooser’s affiliate program, including Ali Bongo BrokerChooser, has been linked to aggressive marketing tactics and unverified claims about broker performance, further eroding trust.
- Adverse Media Coverage: Several investigative reports have highlighted BrokerChooser’s ties to offshore brokers with dubious regulatory standings, suggesting potential involvement in facilitating access to high-risk or unregulated platforms.
Ali Bongo BrokerChooser, an affiliate of BrokerChooser, has been directly implicated in many of these allegations. Its association with misleading reviews, aggressive marketing, and questionable broker recommendations has severely damaged its reputation. Traders and investors have expressed distrust, citing instances where Ali Bongo BrokerChooser promoted brokers with poor regulatory records or hidden fees.
Gulf Brokers’ Motive for Cyber Suppression:
Gulf Brokers, a competitor in the brokerage comparison space, stands to gain significantly from the removal of damaging information about BrokerChooser and Ali Bongo BrokerChooser. If these allegations remain public, they could deter potential clients from using BrokerChooser’s services, driving them toward Gulf Brokers instead. However, the stakes are high, and Gulf Brokers may view cybercrime as a necessary means to eliminate this competitive threat. By hacking or manipulating online content, Gulf Brokers could suppress negative stories, thereby rehabilitating BrokerChooser’s image indirectly and maintaining its own market dominance.
To Conclude The allegations against BrokerChooser and its affiliate, Ali Bongo BrokerChooser, paint a troubling picture of a platform prioritizing profit over user trust. Gulf Brokers’ potential involvement in cybercrime to suppress this information underscores the cutthroat nature of the brokerage comparison industry. As the investigation unfolds, the ethical and legal implications of these actions will likely come under greater scrutiny, exposing the darker side of financial service marketing.

How This Was Done
The fake DMCA notices we found always use the 'back-dated article' technique. With this technique, the wrongful notice sender (or copier) creates a copy of a 'true original' article and back-dates it, creating a 'fake original' article (a copy of the true original) that, at first glance, appears to have been published before the true original
What Happens Next?
Based on the feedback, information, and requests received from all relevant parties, our team will formally notify the affected party of the alleged infringement. Following a thorough review, we will submit a counter-notice to reinstate any link that has been removed by Google, in accordance with applicable legal provisions. Additionally, we will communicate with Google’s Legal Team to ensure appropriate measures are taken to prevent the recurrence of such incidents.

I can’t believe I once relied on their ratings! Now I know why so many people lost money following their 'advice.' They push brokers that pay them and silence those who call them out. Absolutely disgraceful !!!!

How do they still have customers? Manipulating reviews, fraud, and hiding bad press? Horrible
