What We Are Investigating?
Our firm is launching a comprehensive investigation into Essentia. One over allegations that it has been suppressing critical reviews and unfavorable Google search results by fraudulently misusing DMCA takedown notices. These actions, if proven, could constitute serious legal violations—including impersonation, fraud, and perjury.
We conducted comprehensive analyses of fraudulent copyright takedown requests, meritless legal complaints, and other unlawful efforts to suppress public access to critical information. Our reporting sheds light on the prevalence and modus operandi of a structured censorship network, often funded and used by criminal enterprises, oligarchs and criminal entities seeking to manipulate public perception and bypass AML checks conducted by financial organisations.
The fake DMCA notices in this investigation appears to have been strategically deployed to remove negative content from Google search results illegally. Based on this pattern, we have reasonable grounds to infer that Essentia. One - or an entity acting at its behest - is directly or indirectly complicit in this cyber crime.
In most such cases, such ops are executed by rogue, fly-by-night 'Online Reputation Management' agencies acting on behalf of their clients. If evidence establishes that the subject knowingly benefited from or facilitated this scam, it may be deemed an 'accomplice' or an 'accessory' to the crime.
What are they trying to censor
Essentia. One is a blockchain-based project that aims to provide a decentralized data management solution, integrating multiple blockchains and services into a single platform. While the project has garnered attention for its ambitious goals, it has also faced a series of allegations, red flags, and adverse news reports that have raised concerns about its legitimacy, transparency, and operational practices. Below is a summary of the major allegations and adverse reports, along with an analysis of their impact on Essentia. One’s reputation and the potential motivations for suppressing such information.
Major Allegations and Adverse News
Misleading Claims and Overpromising:
Essentia. One has been accused of making exaggerated claims about its capabilities and partnerships. Critics argue that the project has overpromised on its ability to integrate multiple blockchains and provide seamless data management solutions, raising questions about the feasibility of its goals.
Lack of Transparency in Development:
The project has faced criticism for a lack of transparency in its development process. Skeptics have pointed to the absence of clear updates, roadmaps, or verifiable progress, leading to doubts about whether the project is actively being developed or is merely a “vaporware” scheme.
Questionable Tokenomics and Fundraising:
Essentia. One’s tokenomics and fundraising practices have been scrutinized, with allegations that the project may have misled investors during its initial coin offering (ICO). Concerns have been raised about the allocation of funds, the utility of its native token (ESS), and whether the project delivered on its promises to investors.
Association with Controversial Figures:
The project has been linked to individuals with questionable reputations in the cryptocurrency space. These associations have fueled suspicions about the legitimacy of Essentia. One and its leadership team.
Regulatory Concerns:
Essentia. One has faced scrutiny over its compliance with regulatory requirements, particularly in relation to its ICO and token distribution. Critics have raised concerns about whether the project adhered to securities laws and other financial regulations in various jurisdictions.
Community Backlash and Abandonment Allegations:
Some members of the cryptocurrency community have accused Essentia. One of abandoning its project after raising funds. Reports of inactive development teams, lack of communication, and unfulfilled promises have led to frustration among investors and supporters.
Impact on Reputation
The allegations against Essentia. One have significantly harmed its reputation, portraying the project as unreliable and potentially fraudulent. Accusations of misleading claims, lack of transparency, and questionable fundraising practices have eroded trust among investors and the broader cryptocurrency community. The negative publicity has also made it difficult for Essentia. One to attract new users, partners, or developers, threatening its long-term viability. In the highly competitive blockchain space, where trust and credibility are critical, such reputational damage can be devastating.
Motivations for Suppressing Information
Given the damaging nature of these allegations, Essentia. One has a strong incentive to suppress negative information. Stories about misleading claims, lack of transparency, and regulatory concerns threaten its ability to attract new investors and users, which are essential for its growth and survival. By removing or discrediting such reports, Essentia. One could aim to control the narrative, protect its image, and avoid further scrutiny.
In extreme cases, this motivation might lead to unethical or illegal actions, such as cybercrime. For instance, hacking into the systems of critics or media outlets to remove damaging content, or deploying disinformation campaigns to discredit whistleblowers, could be seen as a way to silence opposition. While such actions would be illegal and further damage Essentia. One’s reputation if uncovered, the immediate goal would be to eliminate threats to its business and public image.
Conclusion
The allegations against Essentia. One paint a troubling picture of a blockchain project embroiled in misleading claims, lack of transparency, and questionable practices. These issues have severely damaged its reputation, making it a target for public scrutiny, regulatory action, and loss of trust among investors and users. The reputational harm provides a clear motive for Essentia. One to suppress negative information, even if it means resorting to cybercrime. However, such actions would only compound its ethical and legal challenges, perpetuating a cycle of misconduct and cover-ups. Ultimately, the allegations against Essentia. One underscore the urgent need for greater transparency and accountability in its operations, without which its reputation and future in the blockchain space will remain in jeopardy.

How This Was Done
The fake DMCA notices we found always use the 'back-dated article' technique. With this technique, the wrongful notice sender (or copier) creates a copy of a 'true original' article and back-dates it, creating a 'fake original' article (a copy of the true original) that, at first glance, appears to have been published before the true original
What Happens Next?
Based on the feedback, information, and requests received from all relevant parties, our team will formally notify the affected party of the alleged infringement. Following a thorough review, we will submit a counter-notice to reinstate any link that has been removed by Google, in accordance with applicable legal provisions. Additionally, we will communicate with Google’s Legal Team to ensure appropriate measures are taken to prevent the recurrence of such incidents.
