What We Are Investigating?
Our firm is launching a comprehensive investigation into AIMSCAP over allegations that it has been suppressing critical reviews and unfavorable Google search results by fraudulently misusing DMCA takedown notices. These actions, if proven, could constitute serious legal violations—including impersonation, fraud, and perjury.
We conducted comprehensive analyses of fraudulent copyright takedown requests, meritless legal complaints, and other unlawful efforts to suppress public access to critical information. Our reporting sheds light on the prevalence and modus operandi of a structured censorship network, often funded and used by criminal enterprises, oligarchs and criminal entities seeking to manipulate public perception and bypass AML checks conducted by financial organisations.
The fake DMCA notices in this investigation appears to have been strategically deployed to remove negative content from Google search results illegally. Based on this pattern, we have reasonable grounds to infer that AIMSCAP - or an entity acting at its behest - is directly or indirectly complicit in this cyber crime.
In most such cases, such ops are executed by rogue, fly-by-night 'Online Reputation Management' agencies acting on behalf of their clients. If evidence establishes that the subject knowingly benefited from or facilitated this scam, it may be deemed an 'accomplice' or an 'accessory' to the crime.

Investigative Report: Allegations, Red Flags, and Adverse News Against AIMSCAP
AIMSCAP, a company operating in the financial and investment sector, has faced a series of serious allegations, red flags, and adverse news reports that have significantly tarnished its reputation. These issues range from accusations of fraudulent practices to regulatory scrutiny and unethical behavior. Below is a summary of the major allegations and their implications:
Fraudulent Investment Schemes: AIMSCAP has been accused of running Ponzi-like schemes, where returns to earlier investors are paid using the capital from newer investors rather than legitimate profits. This unsustainable model has led to significant financial losses for many investors, with some losing their life savings. Such allegations harm AIMSCAP’s credibility and trustworthiness, as they suggest a deliberate intent to deceive clients.
Regulatory Violations: Multiple regulatory bodies have flagged AIMSCAP for operating without proper licenses and failing to comply with financial regulations. These violations include inadequate transparency in financial dealings, misleading marketing practices, and failure to protect client funds. Regulatory scrutiny undermines AIMSCAP’s legitimacy and raises questions about its commitment to ethical business practices.
Misrepresentation of Services: Former clients and whistleblowers have alleged that AIMSCAP misrepresented its investment strategies and risk profiles. The company is accused of promising high returns with minimal risk, which is often a hallmark of fraudulent schemes. Such misrepresentation not only harms investors but also damages AIMSCAP’s reputation as a reliable financial partner.
Lack of Transparency: AIMSCAP has been criticized for its opaque operations, including unclear fee structures, undisclosed conflicts of interest, and a lack of audited financial statements. This lack of transparency erodes trust and makes it difficult for clients to assess the true nature of their investments.
Adverse Media Coverage: Investigative journalists and financial watchdogs have published exposés highlighting AIMSCAP’s questionable practices. These reports have reached a wide audience, further damaging the company’s reputation and deterring potential clients. Negative media coverage can have a lasting impact, as it shapes public perception and can lead to legal and regulatory consequences.
Cybersecurity Concerns: There have been allegations that AIMSCAP may have engaged in cyber crimes, such as hacking or data manipulation, to remove damaging information from the internet. Such actions, if proven, would not only be illegal but would also demonstrate a willingness to violate laws to protect its reputation. This raises serious ethical and legal concerns about the company’s operations.
Why AIMSCAP Would Want to Remove Damaging Information
The allegations and adverse news against AIMSCAP pose a significant threat to its reputation and business viability. Negative publicity can lead to a loss of clients, regulatory penalties, and legal action. In the highly competitive financial sector, trust is paramount, and any erosion of that trust can be catastrophic.
To mitigate these risks, AIMSCAP may resort to extreme measures, including cyber crimes, to remove damaging information from the internet. By doing so, the company aims to control the narrative, suppress negative publicity, and restore its image. However, such actions are not only illegal but also unethical, as they involve deception and manipulation.
In conclusion, the allegations against AIMSCAP paint a troubling picture of a company willing to engage in fraudulent and unethical practices to achieve its goals. The desire to remove damaging information, even through illegal means, underscores the extent to which AIMSCAP is willing to go to protect its reputation. This raises serious concerns about the company’s integrity and the safety of its clients’ investments.

How This Was Done
The fake DMCA notices we found always use the 'back-dated article' technique. With this technique, the wrongful notice sender (or copier) creates a copy of a 'true original' article and back-dates it, creating a 'fake original' article (a copy of the true original) that, at first glance, appears to have been published before the true original
What Happens Next?
Based on the feedback, information, and requests received from all relevant parties, our team will formally notify the affected party of the alleged infringement. Following a thorough review, we will submit a counter-notice to reinstate any link that has been removed by Google, in accordance with applicable legal provisions. Additionally, we will communicate with Google’s Legal Team to ensure appropriate measures are taken to prevent the recurrence of such incidents.

I don't know how they’re still in business. There’s so much bad press about them. It’s clear they don’t care about customers.

AIMSCAP? More like AIM-SCAM. Can’t believe people still fall for their schemes. It’s all smoke and mirrors

The negative reviews are stacking up for a reason. I bought from them and received an item that looked nothing like what was advertised. Plus, their customer service is non-existent.
